Refund Policy

Last updated October 16, 2026

14 days, no questions asked. If MacTidy isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of buying it and you'll get your money back in full.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Email support@mactidy.dev from the address you used at checkout.
  2. Include your order number or license key if you have it. You don't need to give a reason, though we'd like to hear it.
  3. We process the refund through Polar, our reseller, usually within two business days.

The money goes back to the payment method you used. Depending on your bank, it can take 5 to 10 business days to show up.

What happens to your license

When a refund is issued, the license key is deactivated. The next time MacTidy checks the license, usually within a day, it returns to its free features on every Mac where it was activated. Nothing you cleaned is affected, anything still in your Trash stays there, and you can still undo earlier cleanups.

After 14 days

If something is wrong after 14 days, such as MacTidy not working on your Mac, email us anyway. We look at every request and refund when it's fair.

Your legal rights

This policy adds to your rights under consumer law and doesn't replace them. If the law where you live gives you a longer period to cancel, or other remedies, those apply too.

Before a chargeback

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A refund is faster for you, and a chargeback adds fees for everyone.
